Charlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller had a moment that looked like it came straight out of a horror movie during Tuesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls.
While trying to go for a rebound, Zeller was elbowed hard in the face by Bulls center Joakim Noah. After taking the direct shot, Zeller kneeled over as the blood started flowing.
So. Much. Blood.
Blood flowed from his face and onto his hands, wrists and, of course, the court itself. The crowd seated in the front row looked absolutely horrified, and understandably so.
Zeller was quickly treated by the medical staff.
He received eight stitches for the gash, but he would come back into the game. Charlotte would go on to beat Chicago 130-105.
After the game, the Hornets center let everyone know he's okay -- he's just upset that the bloody gash didn't come in time for Halloween.
