After a rough day in the media, Chicago Bull point guard Derrick Rose wore the meanest mug of all following his game on Thursday evening.
Following a game in which he put up an impressive 29-and-seven stat line, Rose sported a T-shirt imprinted with the face of his young son P.J. Not just any face, however -- the face that went viral last spring after a glorious postseason press conference.
In case you’ve forgotten about one of important upshots of the 2015 playoffs, the meme came to life after Game 4 of the second-round series between the Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers last May.
Prepare to be mesmerized all over again.
Just look at this face.
And this one, to boot.
Rose wearing this shirt is so meta. And so meme-able. And may just inspire a sequel to Leonardo DiCaprio’s trippy 2010 film “Inception.”
This is P.J. Rose’s world and we’re all just living in it. Or, you know, wearing it. The meanest mug in the preschool yard is back, folks.
